Pre-Production Consultation
Tell us your vision for the audiobook, and we'll provide the right support. If you want to record the book yourself, we'll guide you on the best practices for a home recording setup and equipment recommendations. If you prefer a professional narrator, we'll help you select the perfect voice through audition samples and ensure your unique requirements, such as character guides or pronunciation guides, are addressed.
Recording + Editing + Proofing
We oversee the recording process, whether you're recording or a professional narrator is involved. In the case of a professional narrator, we guarantee the use of treated recording studios and high-quality equipment. After the recording, we edit the content, identify any misreads, and provide a proofing document with re-recording instructions for either you or the narrator.
Mastering + Final Audio Delivery
We replace misread lines with re-recorded takes and use mastering tools like EQ and noise reduction to create a polished final product that meets ACX submission requirements. Finally, we upload the finished files with ACX naming conventions, making them ready for publishing on Audible or other audiobook platforms.

We recommended the Shure MV7 microphone and provided best practices for home recording, helping Deborah Serani achieve studio-quality sound. After guiding her through the initial steps, we edited and enhanced the audio by removing unnecessary takes and applying noise reduction. This personalized approach led to "The Ninth Session" being recognized as a Finalist in the Readers Favorite 2021 Audiobook Contest!

When author CSR Calloway (Chance) approached us to find the perfect voice for "Pretty Dudes," we prioritized POC representation in our search, aligning with the book's Latinx male perspective.
